Guests will have much to do to make a memorable holiday, with many fun activities, such as boating and swimming, together with wonderful scenic walking, golf and fishing. Shops and pubs 0.5 miles

An excellent location with very comfortable accommodation, it is within a 10 minute walk of Bridport which offers everything you need for everyday living. Some interesting local walks and there is a superb health centre 2 minutes away. Dorset is a beautiful and rural county with great beaches and lots to do.

Bridport in Dorset is a market town situated near the coast where the River Brit flows into the sea. Originally a fishing port and rope-making town, the former harbour, once known as Bridport Harbour, is now known as West Bay and the area is now better known as a tourist location. Indeed West Bay has featured in a number of films and TV series including ‘The Navy Lark’ and ‘Harbour Lights’.
The railway once connected West Bay to the mainline, but as with many local branch-lines the Beeching cuts led to its closure, and the former line now provides an excellent route for cyclists, with the old station at West Bay becoming a fine cafe.
Accommodation is well provided for in the area, especially for those seeking self-catering accommodation with a wide variety of holiday lets available on Go2 for search and comparison.
